1.What advice would you give to a student starting their interactive resume project?
The advice that I would give to a student is that they should do something they want. No matter what it is, everything can be linked back to IMD. By choosing something you have a interest in will help making the project. You also want to keep in mind that other people that you are going to be looking at it. So when you start drawing your plans out, make sure that it is eye catching and different.

2. What would you add or remove from the interactive resume project.

I would add a different way to view my resume and about me. I don’t like the slow crème thing I have. I would also add a music player. If I could do it all over again I would put make everything in one file. Its kind of annoying to have your music start over every time. I wouldn’t really remove anything completely. I love everything that I did and see it as some of my best work.

3. What would you change about the capstone project?

I would change the fact that the subject has to be related to our lab. I hate that. I would have done a lot better if I could have just done my original idea, instead of having to waste time thinking how I could connect something that interests me back to IMD. Including the capstone on our resume is a waste in my opinion also. When I go to show this to potential employer, that part of my resume will be irrelevant. And personally I’d feel a little stupid having to explain it.

4. What did you learn about yourself as an interactive media designer over the past two years?

I’ve learned so much I didn’t know before. By going to these classes I know what I was meant to do with my life. It’s crazy thinking that without these classes I’d be just an average student. Not a future graphic designer/photographer. I’ve learned that I am a great leader and that I am willing to take up any challenge. I also figured out that I actually am competitive and I can do anything that I put my mind to.

5. Do you feel that your experience in IMD will help you in the future?

I really do feel like it will. Its been such a amazing experience with its up and downs of course. I know what I want to do and its all because of this class. I would have never known how to use any of this equipment and I saved a lot of money by coming here and not spending money on college classes. Thanks.

so i finished two people for my home page. and im working on the drum set. its gonna be a hoe. seriously. but anyways the people i got done so far is pretty amazing. even nate says it is. lul. anyways. i spent time on flickr getting a picture of a drum set after i realized i didnt know how to draw a drumset. i found a group that helped. so yeah. im not gonna be done in time. which sucks but oh well. my art work is sick.

i worked on my summary all day. i re did the girl. it had to be the same quality as the other guy. which i made that guy bigger size wise. mkay so the girls kinda edgy? i guess. heres her waist up. ill do the legs and stuff tomorrow. oh and no face lul.

so today i basically cleaned Fitzers desk. at the begining of the the period i was working on a portfollio peice. its a song i didnt title it, i doubt i will. but its classical style music wise and about 1:20 long. maybe a tad longer. in the middle of lab i did work on my resume. i colored a few things like the eyes and got rid of some lines to make stuff more flawless. i made the eyes into graphics ill work on getting them blinking tomorrow. at the end of lab i cleaned fitzers desk. well kinda. i just organized and questioned him a lot. i looks a lot better now. but anyways heres what i did in flash.

so ive done a little more. just a tad. like always im deciding on redoing my people. and now im set. i mean this one is ace. pretty stoked on it. so yeahhh. its based off oli sykes :]

fitzer yelled at me and after that i decided to redraw the eyes and mouth. im gonna change his outfit to which means i gotta change his hair yay. funnnnn.
